Built to Last. Maintained to Unite for Good.

Most Well-Maintained Public Image Initiative Award

Some of Rotary’s most meaningful public image initiatives are not measured by how quickly they are launched, but by how faithfully they are maintained. Whether it is a Rotary marker, community garden, school facility, public billboard, waiting shed, or another long-standing project, these initiatives continue to represent Rotary’s values long after the ribbon-cutting ceremony has ended.

The Most Well-Maintained Public Image Initiative Award recognises clubs and districts that have demonstrated exceptional stewardship of their public image assets for at least five consecutive Rotary years. Beyond preservation, this award celebrates continuous improvement, community relevance, and a lasting commitment to ensuring that Rotary’s presence remains visible, meaningful, and beneficial. These initiatives stand as enduring symbols of Rotary’s dedication to service and its ability to Unite for Good across generations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Longevity & Sustained Visibility – Public image initiatives that have remained active, visible, and relevant for at least five consecutive Rotary years.
  • Maintenance & Upkeep – Evidence of regular care, repairs, cleaning, restoration, and enhancements that preserve the initiative’s quality and appearance.
  • Innovation in Continuity – Creative efforts to modernise, improve, or refresh the initiative while maintaining its original purpose.
  • Continued Community Impact – Demonstrated value and ongoing benefit to the community it serves.
