One Symbol. Lasting Legacy. Make Rotary Stand Tall.

Best Rotary Marker of the Year

This award honors Rotary markers that serve as powerful public symbols—visibly showcasing Rotary’s presence, purpose, and pride within communities. Whether it’s a monument, mural, park signage, or a landmark installation, these markers are designed to inspire recognition, spark curiosity, and convey Rotary’s enduring values.

The Best Rotary Marker of the Year goes beyond a signpost. It’s a statement of identity, a celebration of service, and a tribute to legacy. This year, we’re expanding the opportunity for clubs and districts to shine by introducing three size-based sub-categories—ensuring impactful markers, no matter the scale, are seen, celebrated, and shared.

SUB-CATEGORIES

  • Small Category (6–8 feet)

Modestly sized signage that clearly marks Rotary’s involvement and identity in the community.

  • Medium Category (8–12.5 feet)

Well-balanced markers that combine visibility with meaningful design and placement.

  • Top-Tier Category (Over 12 feet)

Large-scale installations that command attention and elevate Rotary’s public image through scale, quality, and creative execution.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strategic Location – Markers should be placed in high-visibility areas that ensure maximum community exposure and relevance.

  • Size & Visibility – Scale and placement should match the setting. Markers must stand out while harmonizing with their surroundings.

  • Branding Accuracy – Use of correct Rotary logos, fonts, and color palette following Rotary’s visual identity standards.

  • Creative Concept – Original and thoughtful design that reflects Rotary’s mission and resonates with the community.

  • Quality & Durability – Materials and construction must withstand the elements and maintain appeal over time.
