Fresh Ideas. Bold Moves. Make Rotary Stand Out.

Most Innovative Public Image Project

This brand-new category celebrates bold thinking and breakthrough creativity in Rotary public image efforts. The Most Innovative Public Image Project Award honors a club or district initiative that pushes the boundaries of traditional promotion — using inventive strategies, original formats, or out-of-the-box ideas to tell Rotary’s story in a fresh, compelling way.

Whether it’s a digital experiment, an unexpected collaboration, or a clever community stunt, the winning project will be one that captures attention, sparks engagement, and sets a new standard for creativity. This is where imagination meets impact — and where Rotary’s message is amplified in surprising, meaningful, and unforgettable ways.

What we’re looking for:

  • Creativity and Originality – The concept is new, bold, and inventive — going beyond the usual formats or platforms.

  • Message Clarity and Relevance – The project communicates Rotary’s purpose and values in a clear, relatable, and inspiring way.

  • Public Engagement and Reach – The initiative sparks conversation, participation, or visibility among a broad or specific audience.

  • Impact and Replicability – The results are tangible — whether awareness, action, or influence — and the idea could inspire others to follow.

The Criteria

How We Measure the Ideas That Break the Mold

Creativity & Originality (35%)

Evaluates the uniqueness of the concept and how creatively it was executed. Bold, fresh ideas that go beyond traditional methods will be scored higher.

Message Clarity & Relevance (25%)

Assesses how clearly the project communicates Rotary’s story, values, or mission in a way that is relevant and meaningful to the intended audience.

Public Engagement & Reach (20%)

Measures the level of audience interaction and visibility — including comments, shares, participation, or public recognition both online and offline.

Overll Impact & Replicability (20%)

Looks at the results achieved and whether the initiative inspired action, awareness, or community response. Also considers how the idea can be adapted by other clubs or districts.

Tips for Creating Innovative Public Image Projects

  • Think outside the box — explore unconventional platforms, formats, or collaborations to tell Rotary’s story in fresh ways.

  • Use technology and digital media to your advantage, such as interactive posts, reels, augmented reality, or gamified content.

  • Focus on storytelling that’s simple, bold, and memorable — don’t just share information, spark emotion and action.

  • Pay attention to timing — align your project with cultural moments, awareness months, or relevant current events for added impact.

  • Involve your community — crowdsource ideas, encourage participation, or create shareable content that invites interaction.

  • Repurpose strong concepts across platforms — a great idea can live on as a post, a banner, a short video, or an event element.

  • Track and evaluate impact — gather metrics like reach, reactions, shares, or testimonials to show how your idea made a difference.
